Situated on a fictitious university campus on Turtle Island, Flight follows two Indigenous women leaders’ stories as they set out to transform the colonial nature of the academy. In this journey, the women meet up with Elder Star and a group of niskak aunties who guide them through the messy work of reconciliation.
Flight: a play-in-progress is presented as part of the Decolonial Conversations Conference. Admission is free and all are welcome, daily registration is required. This program is presented in partnership with Western University, through generous support from The Social Sciences Research Council of Canada and Western University.
