Awards
2026 Volunteer Award nominations are now open!
Now through April 7, we welcome nominations from Museum staff, volunteers, trustees and the public, as long as the nominee agrees and the nomination is not a self-nomination. Each volunteer must be nominated in a separate submission. The process is designed to be open and inclusive, helping us select three exceptional volunteers to be honoured at the Museum London Scholarship and Service Awards each spring. This annual celebration highlights how much our community values the creativity, leadership and dedication of our volunteers.
Museum London honours volunteer service through our annual Volunteer Awards. These awards are a meaningful way in which volunteers are recognized for their outstanding contributions to our organization. Nominations are accepted annually and awards are presented at an event each spring. Awards include:
- The Phyllis Cohen Volunteer Award
The Phyllis Cohen Volunteer Award recognizes a volunteer who brings fresh ideas, creativity and leadership to Museum London by helping launch new projects or revitalizing existing roles with renewed energy and focus. This award honours the spirit of Phyllis Cohen, a devoted Museum volunteer and former Board Chair whose passion for the arts, community wellbeing and not‑for‑profit work inspired many. She believed in the power of artists to spark meaningful conversations and in the ability of art to help build a better world.
