Please note: This is a 4-day camp runs June 29 & 30 and July 2 & 3. Camp will not be offered on Wednesday, July 1. Campers, alongside their families, are invited to visit the Museum on July to take part in our special, free Canada Day programming.
Discover the stories of three remarkable London makers—a visionary hat designer, a skilled miniature model builder, and a talented arts-and-crafts artist—who each created extraordinary work right here in the Forest City.
Inspired by their creativity, campers explore a world of hands‑on imagination: designing elegant hats in the spirit of Constance Humphrys, building moving sculptures and whimsical machines from recycled materials inspired by Ernest Marshall, and painting, crafting, and decorating beautiful objects influenced by the artistry of Alice Elliott. Each day offers a new opportunity for campers to choose their own creative adventures while uncovering the inspiring histories of London’s talented makers. The experience includes a visit to Carpe Diem! Three Stories of Creativity, bringing these artistic journeys to life in exciting and meaningful ways.
Week-long summer camps run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily. For added convenience, extended care is available for Before Care (8:00 to 8:30 AM) and After Care (4:30 to 5:00 PM). Registration is required.
ML Kids Camp is designed for children ages 6 to 12. Campers must be the correct age for their registered camp on the start date of that camp. Proof of age may be required, before or during camp sessions. All program waivers and forms, including camper medical information, must be completed in Uplifter before you are able to complete registration. Incomplete or inaccurate information may result in the camper’s removal from camps.
Registration for this camp ends June 25 at 12:00 PM
Subsidy:
Museum London partners with the City of London’s Childcare Fee Subsidy Program to help make camp more accessible for eligible families.
If you’re not already registered with the City’s Childcare Fee Subsidy Program, the first step is to apply online here. Once you’ve completed the application process with the City, please register for the Local Makers waitlist.
All participants in the subsidy program will be automatically enrolled in both Before Care and After Care services. After receiving an approval letter from your caseworker at the City of London, one of our staff members will review and finalize your registration in the camp program.
