Join Registered Dietitian, Marley Fisher of Munsee-Delaware First Nation, and Museum London Curator of Collections and Connections, Zahra McDoom, for a thought-provoking conversation exploring food, colonization, and cultural revitalization.

Through examples ranging from sea biscuits and empire-building to the significance of the Five White Gifts, this discussion examines how colonial food systems reshaped Indigenous communities and the ongoing work of reclaiming and strengthening Indigenous food sovereignty through traditional food knowledge and practices.

Presented in partnership with Huron Community History Centre at Huron University College, all History Now! lectures are free to students and educators. Registration is required for all.
