Practice the proper use of tools and techniques to carve an image in linoleum. This course will show how to create a print in black and white as well as a multi coloured image using the same linoleum block. By cutting away each colour layer one can print them one on top of the other in perfect registration.

About the Instructor
Eric Mummery is a visual artist working primarily in printmaking and drawing along with wood carving and painting. Eric studied printmaking in London at Beal Art and went on to earn a Bachelors degree in fine arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University. Eric is a member of the recently formed group of professional artists who share a passion for printmaking, Print London. His prints have been shown in juried and invitational exhibitions in Canada, the US , Taiwan, Belgium, Poland and most recently in the third international print Triennial in Serbia.
