Guided by local photographer Michaela Altenburg and inspired by the exhibition Snapshots of Us, this hands-on workshop invites participants to explore the creative potential of smartphone photography. Participants will learn how to make the most of their phone’s camera features, work with natural light, experiment with manual controls, and use simple composition techniques to elevate everyday images. Through guided exercises and creative prompts, we’ll practice transforming ordinary moments into compelling visual stories.
No prior photography experience is required. Participants are encouraged to bring along any photos that inspire them for optional group discussion. A smartphone is required to take part in the workshop.
