Just in time for the JUNOS, this exhibition features approximately 100 juried works inspired by art and music by the elementary and secondary students of London.
Museum London invited elementary and secondary students (K-12) from the Thames Valley District School Board and the London District Catholic School Board to reflect on the theme of “music” and create artwork in a variety of media. Whether students play music or enjoy listening to it; favourite songs, instruments, and bands all served as the inspiration to create their art. Teachers were encouraged to make this a cross-curricular learning experience and link the visual arts to subjects like music and math. All submissions were juried and a selection of approximately 100 student artworks are included in the exhibition.
