Strengthen your observation and drawing skills by working directly from three-dimensional subject matter. Lessons will include building compositions from thumb-nail sketch to full-value rendering, and explore staging, light, shadow, pattern, texture, and shallow perspective. Subjects may include geometric shapes (such as vases, dishes, books, bottles, and furniture) and organic forms (such as drapery, clothing, fruit, vegetables, stones, shells, and bones). Participants will explore the mediums of graphite and coloured pencil. Open to all skill levels.
