Situated at the forks of the Deshkan Ziibi / Thames River on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Attawandaron, and operating within the homeland of the Chippewas of the Thames, Oneida Nation, and Munsee Delaware Nations, we are Museum London.
We offer a year-round exhibition program that includes art, history and contemporary culture. We also offer engaging programs for learners of all ages and are a vital resource for thousands of students who visit the Museum for tours, hands-on experiences, and more. Dynamic events like film screenings, music and performance, workshops and talks, symposia and community celebrations of all kinds take place at Museum London in our many welcoming public spaces.
Our collection includes 5,600 artworks including historical and contemporary works—painting, sculpture, drawings, prints, digital media and installation—that reflect the development of artistic practice in this region and across the country. We also care for 45,000+ artifacts—from everyday household objects, to clothing, to signs, to furniture, to manufactured goods, and much more—the material culture that represents stories of London and Londoners across time.
