"At a time when art is relentlessly commercialized and commodified, Robin McKenna’s “Gift” provides a gentle and welcome reminder of other values."

- A.O. Scott, The New York Times

Join us for a screening of GIFT, a documentary about art as a gift-giving practice, challenging the logic of capitalism. See stories from a Northwest Coast potlatch where a young Indigenous man gifts all his possessions away, to Rome where an occupied factory is transformed into a living museum, and the Burning Man Festival where a mutant bumblebee art car distributes free honey. After the film we’ll do a gift-art activity in our Studio workshop. Presented by Museum London’s Youth Council.
