Are you a new or expecting parent? Do you want to share your unique journey into parenthood through creativity and storytelling? We want to hear from you!

Museum London is seeking diverse parents from the London area to participate in a community photography project and exhibition. No photography experience is necessary—just a desire to share your authentic parenthood experience. A total of ten participants will be selected to document their postpartum journey through photography, collaborate with other parents, and contribute to a powerful and trauma-informed community-driven exhibition. The images created will be featured in an exhibition at Museum London in 2026.

Who we're looking for:

Parents with a baby under 1 year old by April 2025
Those from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds, including but not limited to parents who are:

  • Of all ages
  • Single
  • Racialized
  • LGBTQIA+
  • Part of a blended families
  • Living with a disability
  • Feel their voice and experience is underrepresented

If selected, participants will:

  • Learn how to use their phone to document their postpartum experience
  • Commit to attending three in-person meetings at Museum London (February, March, and April 2025). Bus fare will be provided, if needed!
  • Connect with other parents, share experiences, collaborate as part of the creative process, feel part of a community, and share stories to make change.
