The Lawren Harris painting, Mountain Forms, sold for $11.2 million on Thursday at the Heffel Fine Art Auction House making it the most expensive artwork ever to sell at a Canadian auction.
We are proud to have nine works by Harris in our permanent collection including Lake Agnes above Lake Louise, Rocky Mountains, which is on display in The Desire to Acquire: London Collects and was painted when Harris was 70 years old.
