Arthur McClelland will share his research based on the minutes of the Mechanics’ Institute from 1841 to 1895. Established in 1835, the Mechanics’ Institute was finally located at 231 Dundas Street (the former Scott Building) just west of the Central Library. Come and learn about this fascinating piece of local history.
