Join us for an exhibition tour of London born artist Esmaa Mohamoud: To Play In the Face of Certain Defeat. We will look at her sports-inspired art installations of cement basketballs, African patterned football helmets, and ball gowns made of sports jerseys. What does it mean to be an athlete and who gets to be one? We will talk about games and sports together: what do you like to play, how, and why? Then we will go to the Studio to paint and sculpt our ideas.
