Join Museum London Curator of Regional History Amber Lloydlangston for a tour of "Women’s Lives in Canada: A History, 1875–2000". Following the tour hear London poet and playwright Penn Kemp read from her new book "Local Heroes". This collection of poetry is a celebration of regional artists from Greg Curnoe and James Kemp to writers Alice Munro and Bonnie Burnard. New poems about explorer Teresa Harris are featured. Video poems created by Dennis Siren and Mary McDonald and based on Kemp's writings will also be screened. Select James Kemp paintings from the Museum's collections will be on display.
