Join us for a fun-filled concert showcasing the expressive and humorous side of music, closing out Magisterra Soloists' 2024-25 concert season.
From Igudesmann’s Applemania to Glenn Gould’s ...so you want to write a fugue…, this concert will explore how music can play an important role in expressing humor and satire. Enjoy performances by guest artists Cordula Hacke (piano), Peter Shackleton (clarinet), and Ron George (horn) as they play alongside Magisterra Soloists.
Throughout the year, Museum London partners with Magisterra Soloists on Magisterra at the Museum, a thematic program of live classical music hosted in our Lecture Theatre. Based out of London, Ontario, Magisterra Soloists has a current roster of over 49 international musicians hailing from over 25 countries. Together, these performers have become the face of visionary chamber music in Southern Ontario.
