Museum London is saddened by the passing of Alan M. Cohen on March 2, 2023 who was predeceased in 2012 by his wife Phyllis, a former Museum London Board Chair. Together, the Cohens were staunch supporters of the Museum in many meaningful ways over decades of patronage. In addition to contributing significant funds toward the Centre at the Forks – the realization of Alan’s dream of a learning centre for Museum London – Alan and Phyllis donated important Canadian works of art and cultural artifacts to the Museum’s permanent collection. He was a man of energetic community service, leadership, generosity, and kindness. Alan will be deeply missed, and the Cohens’ legacy will be felt in London for years to come.
