Campers will explore mark-making with charcoal sketching, printmaking, scratch pads, pastel colouring, and action drawing. During daily drawing labs, learn about 3D form and shading techniques with exhibition visits to get inspired from the Museum’s collection. Finish your week by creating your own take-home journal decorated in the medium of your choice.

All camps are for children ages 6 to 12. Children must be turning 6 during the calendar year to register. Camps run Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with free before and after care (8:00 to 8:30 am and 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm).

Join us this summer as we bring Art Camps back to Museum London. Our summer camps are fun, safe, and educational. Campers can express themselves through creative practice and outdoor activities. The combination of our world class art collection and rich natural surroundings allows Museum London to offer campers a complete summer experience, combining outdoor recreation with art-making activities. As a member of HIGH FIVE, we’re committed to excellence in children’s recreational programming.

Camps include exhibition tours, demonstrations, and hands-on activities. Recreational activities include hikes, games, and trips to the park and splash pad.

For those unable to meet the full cost of our camps, financial assistance may be available through the City of London’s Child Care Fee Subsidy. For more information on the program, please contact the subsidy office at 519-661-4834. If you are part of the City of London Neighbourhood and Family subsidy please contact the museum at 519-661-0333 before registering.
