Fun and Fundamentals Art Class: Home Sweet Home

Taking inspiration from the work of regional artists in our collection, participants will celebrate home as a centre and subject in their creative activities. These classes encourage young artists to develop observational skills and achieve a new level of personal satisfaction in their art-making. Guided tours of the exhibitions enhance and inspire the art-making experience, where traditional and non-traditional processes are explored. Working collaboratively with others their own age, participants are encouraged to express themselves within a framework of projects and materials that explore local landscapes and experiences. 

Ages 9 to 12
8 Saturdays, 12:30 to 2:30 pm
January 14 to March 11, 2017 (no class on Saturday, February 18)

Online registrations are accepted until 2:00 pm the day before the camp or class is to begin. After that, please call to register over the phone. Have you missed the first class but are still interested in signing up? Register for remaining classes on a pro-rated basis.

Program fees must be paid at the time of registration. For cancellations received at least one week in advance, the registration fee will be refunded less a $25 administration fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations made with less than one week’s notice.
