We are proud to officially launch our new community space, Centre at the Forks! Join us in celebrating this milestone for both the Museum and the region at large.

The launch ceremony will be in conjunction with our fall exhibition opening reception. This is your opportunity to meet some of the artists and curators of our newest exhibitions:
Words and Pictures: Cartoonists of Southwestern Ontario
,
Ting: The Life and Work of Merle Tingley,
and Bev Pike: Grottesque

For the People's Forest Project, make a leaf and add your voice to our community tree sculptures. Artist Jacqueline Demendeev created the trees in partnership with local organizations. Make a cloud for the LUSO tree and tell us what dreams you have for the future. Make a leaf for the Poet's tree and reflect on your memories of being from here. Make a heart for the PRIDE tree and tell us who is important to you.

And treat your ears to two musical performances by Animal Street (James Kirkpatrick and Mean Joe Tunes) providing live chip tune/circuit bent hip hop compositions while featuring a "best of" from the Animal Street Recordsinstrumental collection.

Bring your friends and family to view the newest art and artifacts on display at the Museum. There will be hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. This event is free, all-ages, and wheelchair accessible.
