Meet artist Matt Trueman’s enigmatic light suit man as he trolls our lawns searching for meaning. Continue Canada 150 discussions, watch the film shorts In the Name of All Canadians. Be seduced by Rah Eleh’s character Oreo as she takes you on a postcolonial tour of our exhibitions.

“Aliens take over the Museum” 
Create your own alien and its artwork. Add them to our Museum London scale model. Drop-in art activity with artist Jacqueline Demendeev. 

 8:30 to11:30 pm           
“Taking night photos with your camera phone”
Learn about using low light settings and composition. Post your best pics at #mlnuitblanche! Hourly mini-workshops with photographer Lisa Rivers. 

7:00 to 10:00 pm         
“Oreo guides in Robert Fones”
Join Oreo for her comedic take on the traditional gallery talk. Hourly performances by artist Rah Eleh.

7:00 to 11:45 pm        
In the Name of All Canadians. 2017
Continue your Canada 150 discussions with these six new original HotDocs short films. Enjoy popcorn and snacks in our film lounge. Drop-in, continuous screenings. 14 minutes each.

“Light Suit (evolving)”
Meet this enigmatic character of light as he responds to found rhythms from heartbeats to traffic flow. Performances every half hour by artist Matt Trueman, front lawn.
